A BBQ Summer? At the moment it looks that way. We have had no significant rainfall for a few weeks now and we could do with some. However, the fish on the farm are alright and the fishing is OK, although a bit hard during the heat of the day.
Surprisingly, Lechlade is producing fish for most anglers. We would normally be considering closing at this time of year but while it continues to produce fish we will stay open. Anglers are welcome to switch to Bushyleaze (and back) if they want.
Water temperatures are high on Bushyleaze. Although there is a lot of surface activity, fish taking olives, you are best to fish deep...about 8 feet, with a static buzzer. Obviously, early in the day and towards evening are the best times.

After we added the "Traffic Light" Ice Report Panel on the left, during the winter, we were ice free, we should have installed it earlier!
You can check the "On Line Booking Page" to see if we have a block booking on the day you want to visit. This will not commit you to anything and you can "abort" once you have checked the calendar.
